We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Accounting. In this role you will oversee all financial aspects of our HOA clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in financial reporting. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a HOA setting. Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with HOA accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with community management software is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Maintenance Technician (Jacksonville, Florida)
Property Management Company seeks to find Maintenance Technician for gated communities. Successful applicant should be self-motivated and a self-starter who is looking to grow within a successful company. Applicant must possess basic technical skills with clean driving record and reliable transportation (Pickup truck required). Candidates must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong supervisory experience as well as the ability to multi-task, perform property inspections, prepare the association’s annual budget as well as membership & board meeting notices. Only those candidates with an active Florida CAM license & at least 1-2 years of experience as a Community Association Manager will be considered.
As the key employee liaisons between the client and internal support staff, the Property Manager must perform the job duties with a view toward projecting a professional and competent image: Service to the customer in a friendly and outgoing manner is essential, while timeliness and professional appearance are key. The position is fundamental to all functions of the community and includes working closely with the Association Board of Directors and/or the Developer to manage and operate the community, facilitate solutions to problems within the community. Strong management skills, customer service skills, and supervisory skills are required.
